Joining the association

Any Aikido club or dojo applying to join the Fudoshin Association must

• have and be in a position to maintain a minimum of 8 members
• have a formal consitution that meets our standards
• have a club bank account

A club’s constitution would need a technical change explicitly state the affiliation to Fudoshin (as well as the BAB) explicitly. We can provide a model constitution to any group requiring one.

We expect the same affiliations to be made clear on the club’s website.

Any group proposing to join the Association is expected to demonstrate and uphold values of equality, diversity, inclusivity and respect.

We require that all coaches be suitably qualified to the minimum CL1 as recognised by the BAB and that robust procedures are in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all practitioners.
